Installation Tips

For bolt and surface strike install with #8 screws, predrill with 7/64" drill bit for soft wood or 1/8" drill bit for hardwood
For mortise and rim strike install with #7 flat head screws, predrill with 3/32" drill bit for softwood or 7/64: drill bit for hardwood
Hand tighten screws, do not use power tools with screws.
When installing decorative hardwre use hand tools in good condition
